Two suspects nabbed by Witbank SAPS after numerous criminal offences
The members conducted a routine search on both the occupants and the vehicle.
Witbank Police apprehended two suspects in possession of a stolen vehicle, jamming devices and illegal ammunition.
On November 11, members of Witbank Police were busy doing a visible policing patrol when they spotted a suspicious vehicle in Klarinet Ext 3.
The members conducted a routine search on both the occupants and the vehicle.
The vehicle was confirmed as stolen and various rounds of illegal ammunition along with three jamming devices were found inside the vehicle.
Two suspects aged 31 and 26-years were arrested and charged, for theft of a motor vehicle, possession of illegal ammunition, and the possession of stolen goods which includes three jamming devices.
The two suspects will appear in the Witbank Magistrate’s Court on Monday, November 15.
The investigation is continuing as it is believed that the suspects can positively be connected to other similar crimes as mentioned above.
