Executive mayor visiting churches

The Executive Mayor of eMalahleni thanks Rock of Ages Church International, Bantu Methodists Church and God Never Fails (GNF) Church for their prayers.

The Executive Mayor of eMalahleni Cllr Linah Malatjie took time to visit three churches to thank them for their prayers.

The churches were visited on Sunday, October 31.

The first church to be visited was Rock of Ages Church International, then Bantu Methodists Church and God Never Fails (GNF) Church.

In her message she said as the municipality she has come to thank them for the role they played in making sure that eMalahleni is a city of God.

She visited the churches to ask the churches to pray for safer elections. The mayor was accompanied by Ms Leah Mabuza.

“I have come to say thank you for your support and to tell you that President Cyril Ramaphosa has sent us to apologise for all the wrong doings of the ANC and that new administration soon to take office will correct those mistakes. The ANC is the movement of the people, it belongs to the people and they must help to guide it. Help us in shaping your visions. We also urge you to vote tomorrow to make your mark,” said the mayor.

At the Bantu Methodist Church she presented blankets to the elderly of the church and she was joined by former Executive Mayor Salome Sithole.
