Organised crime syndicate has their eye set on vehicles in Siyanqoba, Klarinet and Old Coronation

The Witbank Police are urging the community to take note that organised crime syndicates are targeting company vehicles in the Siyanqoba, Klarinet and Old Coronation areas.

During this week two cases of hijackings were reported where the modus operandi was the same. It is alleged that four suspects are targeting vehicles parked outside houses in the above mentioned areas.

The suspects will allegedly break-in in victim’s house during the night thereafter they will demand the keys of the company vehicle parked outside the house.

The suspects then deactivate the tracker devices immediately on the scene with jammer devices and then leave the scene with the company vehicles.

Witbank Police also urges companies to inform all their employees driving company cars who are staying in Siyanqoba, Klarinet and Old Coronation not to park their vehicles at their homes as these houses do not have garages and are currently targeted by these syndicate groups.
