Digital rewards initiative to assist TUT students in eMalahleni

Standard Bank gives back to the students

Around April 2020 TUT, through the Advancement and Partnerships Office, embarked on a project called the Digital Rewards Initiative to mobilise support for TUT students in the form of digital devices.

Selected corporate were approached for support. Standard Bank, as one of the corporate institutions approached, approved an amount of R1 million towards the project.

The donation will go towards procuring and allocating digital devices as agreed with Standard Bank. The agreement with Standard Bank requires that the recipients of digital devices meet the following criteria:

On Thursday, September 23 a couple of students from TUT were rewarded for meeting the digital criteria.
