A dark cloud of death continues to cover the spring month

Murder seems to be growing and escalating this September in eMalahleni.

The unknown body of a man was found in a bush at MNS on Sunday, September 19, it is said that the dead man was seen by a person who was passing by.

 

The man was spotted lying on the ground with his back against a tree.

He had a roughly tied cable wire and shoelaces around his neck.

 

So far no one knows what led to the man’s death. According to the police, there are no arrests made so far, but the matter is under investigation.

 

In another unrelated incident, the body of a man was found lying next to his house in Likazi. His body was covered with a towel.

 

The witness who found the body told police that the deceased was allegedly assaulted by his girlfriend. A suspect was arrested on Monday, September 20 and appeared before Witbank Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, September 21.

 

Witbank Police Station spokesperson Captain Eddie Hall said, “We are still investigating the death of the victim, for now, we can confirm that the suspect was arrested and denied bail by the court therefore she will remain in custody up until we are done with the investigation.” 

The dark cloud of death seems to be covering the City of Coal this September as death statistics are escalating day by day.
