Two people were found dead in separate incidents, suspects wanted
Suspects still on the run after two murders committed in Lynville
Police have launched a manhunt for suspects who allegedly committed two murders in separate incidents three days apart.
The two murders occurred on August 20 and 23 in Lynnville and Empumelelweni.
Police reported in the first incident that occurred on August 20, they received a complaint of a murder that took place at the corner of Lethuli and Botha Street, Lynnville.
As police arrived on the scene, they found the body of an unknown male on the ground. Information gathered by police indicates that the witness who called the police alleged that he heard a gunshot and went outside to investigate as to what was happening.
It’s believed that this was when he found the body of a man lying on the ground.
The medical personnel were called to the scene and the man was certified dead.
In the other incident that occurred on August 23, police received another complaint about a body of an unknown male that was found in Marikana Road, Empumelelweni.
It is alleged that the body of the man had stab wounds that were caused by a sharp object.
He was declared dead on the scene by medical personnel.
The police stated that no one in both of these murder cases has been arrested yet.
The Station Commander Brigadier Lindani Ndlovu is requesting the community to help the police in their investigation.
The police urge that anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect/s in both cases is required to contact Detective Colonel One Thobejane on 082 372 2195.
