Joggie had an ear for the secret sound on Jacaranda FM

‘World in Union’ lands local listener R50 000.

A young engineer from eMalahleni, Joggie Jansen won the secret sound last week on Jacaranda FM.

Martin Bester sent out a secret sound a couple of months ago and since then he has been sending out subtle clues for months now.

One lucky winner from eMalahleni was listening long and hard to the sound and then to the clues.

On Tuesday morning, August 10 Joggie got through and he gave his answer to the secret sound and it was ‘World in Union’ by Ladysmith Black Mambazo and PJ Powers.

Tatjana Schoenmaker was also in the studio as she was having an interview with Martin.

When Martin announced that Joggie had won R50 000, Tatjana announced: “You’ve won the gold medal.”

Joggie was over the moon after winning the prize money.
