The rehabilitation and reconstruction of the roads will result in travelling time delays, interruptions, and access to properties.

The affected portion of roads is on Walter Sisulu Street espoused between Christiaan De Wet Street and OR Tambo Road. This program is scheduled to be completed by October 30.

The works on the road will include lane closures, traffic accommodation, and stoppages.

Therefore motorists and pedestrians are urged to be patient and accommodate each other to avoid road rage and possible incidents.

“Road users should plan their travelling routes and arrangements to prevent congestion,”  Mr Lebo Mofokeng municipal spokesperson said to WITBANK NEWS .

The Emalahleni Local Municipality apologises for the inconvenience during the execution of this very crucial works on the municipal infrastructure and calls for patience and tolerance.
