Members of the various organisations gathered to show solidarity and their commitment to the community.

The initiative started in Tasbet Park, and then moved to KwaGuqa where they went to KG Mall and the new Pick n Pay centre.

Mr Benzi Mtsweni, spokesperson for United Long Distance Taxi Association (ULDTA) said that the local taxi associations aim to work with the police to fight against anyone who plans to disrupt the peace in eMalahleni.

“Even though we are on level 4 lockdown and we may not have a lot of jobs, we will protect our community,” Mtsweni added.
