URGENT NOTICE from the Roads and Stormwater Department

The eMalahleni Roads and Stormwater Department has been rolling out the program of patching of potholes on the main roads.

The local municipality of eMalahleni send out an urgent notice urging road users to use alternative roads to avoid driving into potholes, until tomorrow. June 30.

“However, due to unforeseen breakdown by the Asphalt plant, Mandela Street from Arras towards OR Tambo could not be completely backfilled before end of business day today. We therefore wish to inform the community around to use alternative route to avoid driving into potholes. Apologies for the inconvenience, however the situation will be resolved by tomorrow morning,” communication unit from the Emalahleni Local Municipality stated.
