Soccer teams received soccer balls

The presentation of the soccer balls was held recently at the Puma Stadium.

Municipal manager Mr Sizwe Mayisela and Mr Lesley Ntuli (Director: Community Services and eMalahleni FM chairman) handed over match day balls to four different development teams in eMalahleni.

Dumisa ‘Sphithiphithi’ Ngobe (former Orlando Pirates player) who now plays for one of the teams, Khelina Masters was also part of the delegation that was handing over the balls to Real Ovies, Witbank Arsenal, Siyanqoba United and Monster FC.

Emalahleni Local Municipality (ELM) has pledged most soccer facilities to the Masters League for use during their matches going forward, a move that will benefit the league and the community greatly. More CSI initiatives are planned around the strategic partnership.

Emalahleni Masters Football League was represented by secretary general Mapiti Mohubedu and treasurer general Sbusiso Mokoena including former president Manelo Phathudi who also received a single match day ball for the league.

“Emalahleni Masters Football League in partnership with Emalahleni Local Municipality and eMazulwini Glass and Aluminium made it all possible. Also a special mention to Gulube Holdings (Mthonjeni) in Ackerville for sponsoring all 14 teams with water during their matches,” said Fila Manala president of the Emalahleni Masters Football League.
