Life Cosmos Hospital is one of the Life Healthcare Covid-19 government accredited vaccination sites actively administering vaccines to members of the public who are 60 years of age and older, who have registered on the government Electronic Vaccination Data System (EVDS) and have been allocated to this hospital for their vaccination.
This is in support of South Africa’s second phase of vaccination programme and also includes vaccinating the remainder of healthcare workers who were not vaccinated in Phase 1 of the programme.
“People 60 years old and over should register on the EVDS and will receive an SMS notification providing the date and vaccination site that they should visit,” explained Hanlie Geyser, hospital manager.
