Women involved in a collision, then allegedly raped next to old Middelburg Road

When the woman could not breathe, she surrendered and asked him not to kill her.

After a collision, the only thing you want to do is to relax and the last thing you would expect is to be raped.

An incident occurred on Sunday, May 30 at approximately 05:30 when a woman was travelling in a vehicle with her friend on the old Middelburg Road when they were involved in an accident.

As the woman sat near the car wreck, an unknown person came to her to rescue her.

He picked her up and placed her on his back and carried her into the nearby bushes.

Allegedly once in the bushes, the unknown man pushed her down to the ground and started to choke her.

When the woman could not breathe, she allegedly surrendered and asked him not to kill her.

Once she surrendered, the suspect allegedly pulled off the woman’s pants and his pants, before allegedly raping her.

The woman could not scream or shout as the suspect apparently had his hand over her mouth.

A case of rape was opened at Witbank Police Station.
