Motorists are warned to drive with caution along OR Tambo Drive as water is pouring down the road.
On Monday, May 17 there was a pipe break on the corner of Steenkamp Street and the service road at McCarthy Kunene car dealership has not been repaired as of yet, the water is currently flowing towards OR Tambo Drive.
The leak is on the pumping line from Point B reservoir to Point C ground reservoir and will ultimately have a negative impact on the reservoir levels.
The system is taking time to drain as the leak is at the lowest point of the pipeline and pumping to Point C reservoirs has been stopped.
