Witbank Police looking for wanted suspect in gender-based violence murder

The suspect immediately fled from the scene and is still at large since the murder.

Witbank Police are requesting the community to assist them in tracking down a suspect.

Fernando Mothusi, 21-years old can help the police with a gender-based violence murder case that occurred on April 19 at Likazi, Old Coronation, eMalahleni.

According to information, the suspect was with his girlfriend at the said address when a fight between the couple led to the suspect allegedly stabbing his girlfriend several times with a knife and leaving her to die in cold blood.

The suspect immediately fled from the scene and is still at large since the murder.

Anyone with information is requested to phone the investigating officer, Constable Elias Patel on 072 025 1395 or the SAPS National Crime Stop number on 086 001 011 or the Crime Stop SMS line on 32211.
