Gunshots silence well-known businessman
It is alleged by eyewitnesses that the unknown male walked up to the window of the driver side where Mfikoe was seated and shot him
A well-known businessman was killed in what is alleged to be an assassination.
On March 17, the victim Mr Thokwe Elias Mfikoe had arrived at Witbank General Hospital and parked his silver Isuzu ‘bakkie’ in the outside parking area.
Mfikoe, who was accompanied by colleagues from his working place at Eskom Kusile Power Station was climbing in his vehicle after he came out of the hospital when a suspect with a firearm who was standing in the parking area suddenly pulled a gun and opened fire on him.
It is alleged by eyewitnesses that the unknown male walked up to the window of the driver side where Mfikoe was seated and shot him.
