She started rapping in 2014 when she won a 10k Challenge at Back to the City, in 2015 she won the best female rapper at the SAMMA.

Lindiwe Skhosana better known as Assessa in the music circle is deeply rooted in eMalahleni and has been a rapper since a young age.

She says she is the best female rapper from the city, and she loves what she does and started rapping in 2014 when she won a 10k Challenge at Back to the City, in 2015 she won the best female rapper at the SAMMA.

Now she is under the Cloud 9 Production working on her first album that is to be released later this year.

“I was at Mthimkhulu Centre for the Aged to donate R5 000 for my old people because I believe that a giving hand is blessed. I also believe that old people always pray for us all the time and I believe in their wisdom,” said Assessa.

The gift was received by Ms Esther Mokgabudi who said she has been working in the place for more than 10 years.

She also said they always welcome any donation, and they appreciate be it in clothes, food, cash, furniture or any other items.

She pointed out that the cash donation will go a long way in helping the old people staying at the centre.
