Opportunity for primary school learners to improve their mathematics skills is here again

The Challenge which commenced in 1977 has contributed towards improving the quality of mathematics results for many primary schools.

The final call for all South African Primary Schools to enter the 2020 Nestlé Nespray South African Mathematics Challenge is here.

Nestlé Nespray calls on all primary schools to register in the annual Nestlé Nespray South African Mathematics Challenge from now until March 5, 2021.

The Challenge aims to improve problem-solving and critical thinking skills for learners in Grades four to seven (Grades 4 -7).

Following a successful 2020 that saw over 1000 schools and approximately 90 000 learners from all over the country participating in the challenge, this year the Nestlé Nespray South African Mathematics Challenge hope schools will register as many learners as possible. WITBANK NEWS reported earlier about the success 2019 brought.

“After a successful 2019 which saw over 1000 schools and a staggering 80 000 learners participating from all over the country, this year, all schools and learners from Grade four to seven (Grades 4-7) are encouraged to participate in this fun and exciting Mathematics Challenge,” the article stated.

Schools are encouraged to enter this fun and exciting way of learning mathematics to empower learners in Grade 4 – 7 to become independent, creative, and critical thinkers who can interpret & critically analyse everyday situations.
