Mob justice was the end of a man suspected of killing his cousin and his grandfather.
This act of vigilantism was experienced in Phola on Sunday, February 14 when angry community members took the law into their own hands and killed a man.
Allegedly the mob started by stripping him naked assaulted him and cut his manhood with a broken sharp beer bottle before he died.
This follows the death of 22-year-old Kwenzekile Potgieter who was found killed and burned in her room in Buffer Zone Phola recently.
“A case docket of murder was opened, but no arrest has been made so far, pending investigation,” said Sgt Thabang Petros Ntuli Phola SAPS spokesperson.
