Man assaulted at home, currently in ICU
A resident from eMalahleni was brutally attacked in his home.
The violence in eMalahleni is currently increasing and more and more elderly people are falling victim to brutal violence.
On Sunday, February 7 at approximately 09:30 in broad daylight a man was brutally attacked by intruders who gained entrance into his property.
The full details regarding how the incident happened are still unclear.
It’s alleged that the suspects gained entrance by cutting the fence to the property.
The elderly man who was severely injured was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
A case of house robbery and assault was opened at Witbank Police Station.
The family of the man was contacted for comment about the incident but declined to do so.
