Do you have a love for baking and decorating now is your chance to get baking to help children with cancer.
Cupcakes of Hope is a community-driven cause that aims to raise awareness around childhood cancer and raise funds for children with life-threatening diseases.
The fundraiser is hosted by volunteers throughout the year in a wide variety of formats.
International Childhood Cancer Day falls on Monday, February 15, and then you can sell the lovely cupcakes that you baked and decorated to family, friends or colleagues to donate R10 – R20 for a sweet treat.
You might be thinking it’s a lot of money for just a cupcake, remember one little thing that money will be going to some child who is going through so much more than R10 or R20.

Here is how you can help and join in the baking to help create awareness and in the same process raise funds for children with cancer by following these steps:
- Step 1: Pledge to bake 24 or 48 cupcakes and help raise funds for children with cancer.
- Step 2: Register your fundraiser here below
- Step 3: Bake your delicious cupcakes and ask friends to make R10/R20 donation per cupcake (fundraiser ends on February 28). You can also host a Mini Pop Up at your work, neighbourhood or child’s school and help spread Cupcake Love across South Africa.
- Step 4: Transfer funds into Cupcakes of HOPE bank account
