Two suspects who tampered with infrastructure at Blesbokfontein Transnet Pipeline at Farm Klipfontein died.
“It is alleged that the two Zimbabwean national suspects died in hospital under police guard due to fire burns that they sustained in a mission gone wrong operation to steal fuel at the pipeline,” said Sgt Thabang Petros Ntuli, Phola SAPS spokesperson.
The case is still under investigation.
