Point D command pump station is back online.
Since 21h00 last night there has been 4 out of the 5 pumps running at Point D command reservoir, pump no.5 is still offline due to a damaged motor.
The electrical and mechanical teams will continue with repairs today and will have pump no.5 operational later today.
The reservoirs are still running low and therefore the water supply to several areas is still affected.
Currently there is no pumping to Point C reservoir due to Point B reservoir levels still being low.
Point A reservoir has one pump continuously running unfortunately the recovery period to stabilise the reservoir level will be prolonged.
Communities are advised to use water sparingly during this period in order to allow the system to stabilise.
As additional feedback is received an update will be provided.
