Tyres recovered and suspects behind bars

The two suspects have been on the wanted list as they are suspected to be a part of a tyre theft syndicate in Mpumalanga.

A mine in the eMalahleni area had tyres stolen, with quick response and a good reaction team they tyres were discovered and the suspects were caught red-handed.

The incident happened on Monday, December 7.

CSC Virtual Guarding was contacted by one of their valued clients that said tyres had been stolen off one of their mines in the area and that they had received a call from an unknown caller trying to sell the same four tyres back to them, unaware that they were the original supplier of the tyres to the mine.

Members from CSC Virtual Guarding helped the client and waited for the suspects to bring the tyres to the premises.

Once the suspects arrived at the premises with the tyres on the back of a truck, the tyres were offloaded and two of the suspects were arrested.

The driver and three other suspects fled from the clients’ premises in the truck; CSC Virtual Guarding chased them in hot pursuit on the old Middelburg Road.

Close to the Jackaroo Park on the truck was apprehended the suspects jumped out and ran amongst the house in Jackaroo Park.

Three of the four suspects were arrested by CSC Virtual Guarding Response Team.

The client is very happy that the tyres were recovered.
