Three suspects bombed pension payout point in the Central Business District of eMalahleni

On Wednesday, December 2 three armed suspects robbed NET 1 pension payout point on the corner of Eadie and Walter Sisulu Street.

As money is important to all of us, money is more valuable to a pensioner who only receives a little.

On Wednesday, December 2 three armed suspects entered NET 1 pension payout point on the corner of Eadie and Walter Sisulu Street in the Central Business District (CBD) of eMalahleni.

The suspects instructed the security guard and about 15 pensioners that were inside the shop to lie down on the ground.

The suspects then bombed the two ATMs that were inside the pension payout offices.

However, after the explosion, the money boxes were not open and the suspects fled the scene in a blue Ford ST sedan with an unknown registration number.

No shots fired and no injuries.

The two ATMs were loaded earlier that morning just before the robbers bombed the machines.

Witbank Police Station are requesting anyone of the public who has any information regarding these criminals responsible for the arson to contact the investigating officer Lieutenant Colonel Solly Thobejane on 079 891 5842 or the national crime stop number on 08600 10111 or the national SMS number 32211.
