Vosman SAPS concerned about hijackings

Police in Vosman, therefore, request the community who has information that can assist with the investigations to contact Colonel One Thobejane at 082 372 2195.

The Station Commander of Vosman Brigadier Lindani Ndlovu has expressed his concern about the levels of car hijackings in the policing precinct of Vosman.

Brigadier Ndlovu has therefore requested the community to exercise extra vigilance when driving their vehicles more so during the night. He urges the community not to stop their vehicles at unsafe places and should be cautious when approaching their residential areas.

The caution by Brigadier Ndlovu came after several victims were hijacked of their vehicles at their gates, yards as well as on the places where they were offloading their colleagues or friends.

“In this regard, it shows that the suspects are often following their victims from certain areas, waiting for them just to halt their vehicles and then rob them at gunpoint. Several people suffered a blow from these armed suspects and the community should be extra careful,” said Brigadier Ndlovu.

Police in Vosman, therefore, request the community who has information that can assist with the investigations to contact Colonel One Thobejane at 082 372 2195.
