Statutory rape suspect sought
It alleged that the suspect has fled to Swaziland to avoid arrest.
The Witbank Police FCS (Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual offences) unit is urging the community to assist with regards to a wanted suspect.
A warrant of arrest has been issued, for Musa Norman Mkhonta for a case of statutory rape that occurred on May 21 in Kriel, Mpumalanga.
The victim, a minor claimed to her parents that she had fallen in love with the 22-year-old suspect where after they had a sexual relationship and the victim fell pregnant.
It alleged that the suspect has fled to Swaziland to avoid arrest.
