Cleaning up Vosman took all Saturday

Wards 8 and 9 in Vosman held a cleaning campaign, initiated by Sanco eMalahleni Zonal.

The cleaning campaign was held on Saturday, November 21. Mr Themba Marabe, a Sanco official said they had an engagement with Trans African Concessions (Trac) N4 officials and highlighted the unclean environment along the N4 route next to the community.

Sanco then initiated a ward meeting with councillors, structures in the community and the business sector.

Plannery meetings were then conducted and it was agreed that the campaign must be held.

“Involvement of Trac N4, Emalahleni Local Municipality, Sanco, Sagric, Phemphetse Trading, Lumoja General Construction, Parliamentary Constituency Office Emalahleni, Best Thoughts Trading and Projects, Thamvest Trading, Sanco Emalahleni Zonal and all the structures taking care of our environment were received. Key to this is the ongoing awareness campaign with the community,” explained Mr Marabe.

He went on to thank all the Sanco volunteers who come through for the cleaning campaign in the two wards and those from other wards.

He also highlighted the presence of Sanco regional chairperson and regional members as well as Mr Vusi Ndhlovu from Emalahleni Local Municipality and his team, ward councillors, officials of Trac N4, the media team and service providers from Trac N4.
