Mrs Mpumalanga finalist Pontso Mokonenyane will host a show to inspire, to give courage and to motivate other women.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 17 starting at 13:00 at 22 Van Wyk Louw Street (tennis court) in Extension 8.

The special guests will be the executive mayor of the city, Mrs Mpumalanga finalist and many more.

The speakers will be Mrs Mabena (business), Mrs Masina (motivational speaker), Mrs Dlamini (courage) and Ms Emeldah Malumane (beauty).

According to Mrs Mokonenyane the show is aimed at all women but it is open to all genders. This is part of her initiatives as a Mrs Mpumalanga finalist.

“The reason for hosting the event is to inspire, to give courage and to motivate other women. I want to give hope because as women we are faced with a lot of challenges. I was pregnant and I got married and there were a lot of issues I faced. There were a set of rules I had to follow as a married woman and I had to do a lot of adjustments and ended up losing myself. I want to give hope and tell them that all is not lost, and we need to find ourselves despite the pressure and the challenges. We need to bounce back and be stronger,” said Mrs Mokonenyane.

Mrs Mokonenyane said the beauty of Mrs Mpumalanga is that it caters for all types of women. The theme of the event is black and white. Tickets cost R250 and they include beverages. Donations are also welcomed.
