There is such a thing as #ENOUGH

Reports suggest that the number of GBV cases has risen to over 500% since the start of the Covid-19 lockdown pandemic

Awareness against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) was the top focus of the #ENOUGH Super Car Breakfast Run.

The #ENOUGH campaign is driven by Mrs Mpumalanga 2020. Reigning queen Roxy van Bruwaene, in conjunction with the Mrs Mpumalanga Foundation and the new Mrs Mpumalanga and Provincial Ms Mpumalanga finalist, awareness was raised during the Super Car Breakfast Run on Sunday, August 30.

Reports suggest that the number of GBV cases has risen to over 500% since the start of the Covid-19 lockdown pandemic.

This figure is alarming, to say the least, and our communities need to be made aware in a big way.

This being said, an event of this genre was ideal, not just because we will be following Covid-19 protocol, but it is an event that certainly speaks to both genders and every demographic, from roaring supercars to souped-up GTI’s.

The cars took the N4 on Sunday from eMalahleni and Nelspruit to meet at Milly’s dressed in black and engines roaring to speak up and say #ENOUGH!
