Imagine starting your day by seeing a dog dragging a fetus around.
This is exactly what happened to a resident of Lynnville on August 13 at about 09:00.
The dog was dragging a fetus near a dumping site.
When the resident made the discovery he chased the dog until it dropped the fetus.
The Police were called to the scene and the forensics unit removed the fetus.
The fetus was taken to the government mortuary for further investigation.
Capt Elizabeth Mkaudi from Vosman Police Station said, “We are requesting women not to abandon their babies or commit illegal abortions but rather seek help. Talk to social workers to assist if there is a problem or you if you need help, don’t do evil with your children”.
