“It was chaos on the scene. Our paramedics had their hands full tending to all the injured,” said Mr Shayne van der Heever, director of Langamed Services South.

Const Angel Makuba, spokesperson of Kriel SAPS said the cause of the accident is still unknown.

The name of the deceased is withheld because he was not formally identified yet.
