Women from all walks of life have gathered in front of Witbank Magistrate’s Court to stand up against Gender-Based Violence.
WITBANK NEWS earlier reported about women gathering at the court showing their support for burn victim Karabo Mnisi as the accused, Kholofelo Nonyane had his first appearance on July 14.
The bail application will be heard on July 20.
“We are here because this man must not get bail and remain in custody for Karabo and her family’s safety,” said Dudu Mahlangu who found Karabo after the tragedy.
Nonyane is charged with attempted murder after he allegedly doused Mnisi with paraffin and set her alight in December 2019.
