Father’s Day had a terrible start for a couple travelling on the N12 towards Johannesburg.
A man is dead and his wife taken to Emalahleni Private Hospital (EPH) after an accident.
It seems that the driver lost control of the vehicle and it went an embankment. This accident happened just passed the Ogies/Blackhill offramp.
Mr Dino Padayachee from Langamed Emergency Management said the woman was stabilised on the scene and taken to EPH for further treatment.
Padayachee said the cause of the accident is not yet known.
