The Witbank Station Commander, Brig Lindane Ndlovu is calling on the community to assist with any information that can lead to the arrest of the two suspects responsible for the murder of Keitumetse Keggen Malefahlo.

The 13-year old boy was shot and killed during a house robbery in Klarinet on May 19.

Brigadier Ndlovu requested the community of eMalahleni to assist the police with any information regarding the murder in contacting the investigating officer Sergeant Levias Rangwaga on 072 737 2003 or the National Crime Stop number 0860010111 or the National Crime SMS number 32211.

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Mondli Zuma has strongly condemned the shooting and senseless killing.

“We are disturbed by this incident where the life of an innocent teenager was taken abruptly by these brainless criminals. I have already ordered their quick arrest and will use all our arsenals to track these men who have no regard for human life. These suspects can only be regarded as cowards who opted to prey on an innocent, defenseless. They should be urgently found, arrested so that they can face the giant might of the law. The patriotic community should assist us and I urge anyone who recently bought a television-set from the streets to immediately contact the police as a matter of urgency because you might be watching television which has the blood of the boy, “said General Zuma.
