A family allegedly lost goods worth thousands during a house robbery that took place in Hertzog Street.
This house robbery occurred on Wednesday, March 18 at about 22:00.
It is alleged that a woman was sitting in her kitchen along with three of her friends when the robbery took place.
“I was sitting in the kitchen with my friends when this all happened. One of my friends went outside and then when he came back in, two other men were with him pointing him and us with a gun,” the victim explained.
Allegedly the friends ran to one of the bedrooms just after the unknown men appeared.
“Then one of the men with a gun followed us to the bedroom and demanded that we give him our cell phones and wallets. He also took our laptops and some clothes,” she further explained.
Allegedly the two suspects ran off after they took all the belongings.
Police were notified and they are investigating this case.
