Highveld Mall is safe

In addition, a complimentary shopper sanitation station is available at the Highveld Mall Information Desk in the Edgars Court

Highveld Mall values the health and safety of our community.

For as long as it is prudent and permissible, Highveld Mall remains open and operational so that our retailers can serve the community during this unprecedented time.

The mall continues to support our shopper community by ensuring that critical products and services are available to those who need them.

The well-being of tenants, shoppers and employees is of paramount importance and to that effect management is closely monitoring the development of the COVID-19 situation, and have taken the necessary precautionary measures in accordance with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the relevant South African and local health authorities.

Highveld Mall endeavours to stay abreast of all new developments to keep our shopper community informed at all times.

Providing a safe environment, as we remain open, is our first priority.

We have taken heed of all the recommended precautions, and cleaning of the mall’s common areas is taking place more regularly and rigorously, using the prescribed alcohol-based or antibacterial disinfectants.

In addition, a complimentary shopper sanitation station is available at the Highveld Mall Information Desk in the Edgars Court.

All our restaurants and stores have complied with and implemented the safety procedures and measures as prescribed by their individual head offices.

Over and above these added safety measures, we urge shoppers to follow the prescribed hygiene guidelines such as washing your hands thoroughly and regularly, avoiding physical contact such as shaking hands, refraining from touching your face, and coughing/sneezing into your elbow, to name but a few.

Notices can also be found in all our ablution facilities in the mall.
