The long wait is over.

Prime Circle is ready to rock Olifants River Lodge with their Live Summer Tour.

All the fun activities to set the mood for the show are set to start at 10:00 on February 22.

Fans will be treated to live music, paintball, ‘boeresport’ and a huge beer tent.

If you just want to kick back and relax, you can do so in the heated indoor swimming pool or cool off in one of the three cold water swimming pools outside.

The restaurant is geared up to make sure all empty stomachs are taken care of with a delicious selection on the menu.

If that is not enough, there is also fishing, water slides, guided horse rides, paddle boats, game drives, hiking and a games room to keep the young ones entertained.

It is about time Prime Circle treats their home town with a concert.

It seems like only yesterday when a very young Ross Learmonth, the frontman of popular South African rock band nervously came into a photographic studio here in eMalahleni for the band’s first photoshoot together.

Marco Gomes, bass guitarist then said they are going the full circle and he predicted that they will become a household name, and so they did.

The band debuted in 2002 with their album ‘Hello Crazy World’, which propelled them onto the South African rock scene.

Their blend of rock, pop and bass undertones combined with Learmonth’s distinctive voice was a breath of fresh air for local rock lovers.

In 2005 they released ‘Live This Life’.

In 2006 the band started touring as supporting act of the band Live.

They performed at the 46664 Nelson Mandela concert and played alongside legendary American bands Metallica, Simple Plan, and Good Charlotte.

Their third album ‘All or Nothing’ was nominated for four Sama awards (South African Music Award) in 2008.

The band continued to play alongside international bands that had concerts in South Africa, like Korn, Muse and 30 Seconds to Mars.

The album ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ was released in 2010, which did extremely well in the South African charts.

Their next two albums ‘Evidence’, 2012 and ‘Let The Night In’, 2014 offer songs with fresh creative energy and edge that delights fans.

In 2016, the band embarked on an international tour, performing in Germany, Austria, and Scandinavia.

Their newer music also features more electronic and pop sounds, which showcases the band’s growth and adaptability to the market.

Prime Circles album ‘If You Don’t You Never Will’, 2017 has a softer, lyrical sound and encapsulates the band’s evolution.

Fans were spoiled with yet another album in November last year when their eighth album ‘Live World’ was released.

This album is truly different because they have taken their 25 live recordings done in several countries around the world in several years and put it on an album so that you can listen to them live in the comfort of your home.

Tickets for Prime Circle’s concert is R210 per person and available from Computicket.

Tickets are also available at the gate.

Concert doors open at 18:00.
