The children’s event took place on Day of Reconciliation on Monday, December 16 at Witbank High School grounds.

Many jumping castles were put up for children to play at and splash in water.

There was galore food and ice cream from the food stalls and a bicycle was up for grabs when you buy a ticket for a raffle.

There was also great music for the children to dance to.

Cool Kids Fiesta organiser Zinhle Sgudla said that this was the first time such an event happens in eMalahleni.

The 22-year-old partnered with Selina Ntobaki and Nqubeko Xulu to make this event a success.

“Cool Kids Fiesta is an event that will take place every year when schools close for children to relax and enjoy themselves,” Zinhle said.
