Two girls allegedly raped by an uncle
The mother gathered neighbours and they managed to overpower the suspect, tied him with shoelaces and called the police
Two young girls under the age of 10 years were reported to be raped by their uncle after they told their mother that when they are left with him, he touches them.
The girls had the courage to confess to their mother on Sunday, December 1, at about 16:00 when she arrived home.
“My daughters ran to me as I approached home and told me that they love me and have something to tell me,” the mother of the girls said. “They told me that when I am away, their uncle touches them on their private parts and the older one said that he also sleeps with them.”
The mother gathered neighbours and they managed to overpower the suspect, tied him with shoelaces and called the police.
The man was arrested.
“What he has done is painful. I took the girls to a doctor and could confirm that the girls were violated several times, not just once,” she exclaimed.
He added that the family is united and dealing with the situation and the girls are going through counselling.
“It is understandable that people get tempted but some temptations need God. I believe it was a good decision to get him arrested for justice to be served,” she said.
The suspect appeared in court the first time on the December 3 and the case was postponed to Tuesday, December 10.
