The description of a badly bruised and lifeless body was the picture a local resident described after a man was allegedly beaten to death by a group of residents in Tasbet Park with a sjambok.
The incident that took place on November 25 left the residents in silence as it is believed that the body of a male was found in a field where the same group of people that allegedly assaulted the man was busy pouring water over his body, not knowing he is dead.
The community is urged to let the police handle crime related incidents and if someone is busy with criminal activities, they should rather call authorities as to take the law into their own hands.
Unfortunately the family of the deceased could not be reached before going to print.
