Only skeleton staff at Witbank Hospital

Subsequent to the incident it was tools down at the hospital as staff is fearing for their lives

It is still not all systems go at Witbank Hospital.

Skeleton staff was working on Monday, November 25 taking care of high priority medical cases.

The unions are waiting to see if the MEC for Health, Ms Sasekani Manzini, will be delivering on the promises she made on Wednesday, November 20, to beef up security at the hospital.

This follows a shooting incident on November 16 when the 30-year-old Mr Selvino Zumbha was shot in the corridors of the hospital.

Subsequent to the incident it was tools down at the hospital as staff is fearing for their lives.
