Witbank Cluster is to be praised after successful arrests of armed robbery suspects.
On Monday, September 30 at about 21:00 members of this office received information regarding the whereabouts of one of four suspects who are committing robbery with firearms around the N4 highway.
The one suspect was spotted and searched.
In his possession three bank cards were found that belongs to the complainant.
During the interview this suspect informed members of this office on the whereabouts of his other associates.
On Tuesday, October 1 at about 03:00 members of this office in conjunction with K9 Middelburg conducted a tactical and disruptive operation in order to apprehend the other three suspects.
Their premises were searched and stolen items were found and seized.
Items found: One Hisence cell phone blue in colour, one toy gun, two cell phones, one Levis jean, one Nike bag and two t-shirts.
The suspects were arrested for possession of stolen property and they are also linked to a case of robbery with a firearm.
An identification parade was held on Tuesday, October 1.
