Behind the scenes of Agapé Learning Centre

Agapé is a non-profit multi-racial facility catering for kids with mental disabilities (SID, Autism, MR and Cerebral Palsy) and physical disabilities

There is a certain amount of attention that is needed when working with a child that is extraordinary.

Agapé Learning Centre was established in November 2017 by founder and principal Sarita Jansen van Nieuwenhuizen.

The inspiration and love for Agapé all started with Sarita’s daughter that needed more of individual development and training due to ADHD, and it was with a great heart that Sarita did not stop with her daughter and started Agapé to help mental and physical disabled children.

Agapé is a non-profit multi-racial facility catering for kids with mental disabilities (SID, Autism, MR and Cerebral Palsy) and physical disabilities.

The learners aged from four to 18 years are given the right methods to improve their skills, knowledge, values, beliefs and habits.

Agapé also offers a homeschooling program by the name Brainline that follows the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) curriculum.

The difference between Brainline and governmental schools is that the amount of learners per class is limited to a maximum of 10 pupils.

Therefore learners receive individual attention. Brainline also accommodates for learners with disabilities.
