Suburbs without water due to huge pipe break

There is a major water pipe break from Witbank Dam which supplies water to the main water plant and has resulted in water supply interruptions.

The repairs will take an estimated 12 to 16 hours.

The affected areas are as follows: Jackaroo Park, Blanchville, Highveld Park, Siyanqoba, Klarinet Extensions, Kwa-Guqa Extentions, Lynnville, Schoongezicht, Kwa Thomas Mahlanguville, Kwa Mthunzi Vilakazi, Hlalanikahle Extensions, Empumelelweni and Pine Ridge.

The municipality’s communucation ream said water tankers are available on strategic areas.
