Numerous complaints have been received from residents staying in Highveld Park, Prinsberg Street in particular after water tanks were spotted filling up with water.
Mr Lebohang Mofokeng, the municipal spokesperson were contacted to look into the matter.
He stated that ordinarily, there are service providers who assist the Emalahleni Local Municipality with water tankers in an event there is an interruption of water in the area and the water is drawn from their plants.
“This particular truck is one of the service providers assisting the municipality to cover areas without water,” said Mr Lebohang Mofokeng.
