Entries for Rotary’s Greatest Train race are closing soon.
Entries for the race will close on July 31.
On August 24, eMalahleni will be filled with participants from all over during the ever popular GTR 2019 race, sponsored by Glencore.
A dedicated children’s play area will keep the kids entertained all day and food stalls will ensure the tummies stay full.
In an effort to resolve the traffic congestion at the Witbank Dam experienced in 2018, race organisers will introduce a park and ride shuttle bus service this year.
Participants and spectators will park at Witbank High School and Laerskool Taalfees at a fee of R20 per vehicle.
The shuttle bus fee (R30 per person) is already included in the entry fee to participants and spectators can purchase tickets on the day at the bus loading points.
