Sunlight 2in1 brighten up eMalahleni

The aim of the consumer activations is to give back to the community.

The past weekend has been nothing but filled with some bright energy with a visit from Sunlight 2in1 hand washing powder team and one of the great Sunlight 2in1 Mamzo and television personality Nomsa Buthelezi.

Nomsa and the Sunlight 2in1 team hosted the Sunlight 2in1 Hand washing powder consumer activations from Friday, June 21, until Sunday, June 23.

The aim of the consumer activations is to give back to the community.

“The little soap we give them goes a long way and to get people and have fun together,” said one of the Sunlight 2in1 promoters, Kabelo Lesufi on Saturday, June 22, during consumer activation at Highveld Mall.

Nomsa added that they do the consumer activations for the ordinary people who actually wash their laundry by hand.

“Sunlight is a brand loved by many people especially the middle class. Once they see this set up, they know they will get soap and it will go a long way.”

She continued and highlighted that she enjoys being part of the activations.

“I have so much fun on these campaigns because I get to see the talent of people such as in Kwa Guqa Mall yesterday (Friday). I got to see the raw talent of young dancers.”

Mothers, fathers and anyone who can take care of a household went to the various shopping centres to meet the Sunlight Mamzo and got to take home packets of Sunlight 2in1 hand washing powders, Sunlight bennies and t-shirts.

Sunlight 2in1 has a television show on eTV, Sunlight2in1 ‘Fragrance Your Life’, hosted by Nomsa alongside the other Sunlight 2in1 Mamzo and television personality Thembsie Matu. Sunlight Fabric Solutions Brand Manager at Unilever, Lerato Dumisa, said on a media statement: “The intention of the TV show is to engage with South Africans about the various laundry challenges they face daily. As much as the show is light-hearted and sometimes humorous, we also wanted to showcase the power of fragrance and memory by accentuating the scents with the three Sunlight 2in1 handwashing powder variants.”

Nomsa said on Saturday that the show has been going really well and South Africans are receiving it very well.

“The show is incredible. I have finished shooting Our Perfect Wedding and Lockdown, so the TV show keeps me busy and not bored. I thank God for the Sunlight 2in1 activation campaigns and the show.”
