Early on Friday morning an accident claimed the life of three passengers, one of which is a baby who is only a few months old.
Mpumalanga Community Safety, Security and Liason MEC Pat Ngomane is sending condolences to the families of the deceased and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured.
It is alleged in a media statement that the minibus involved in the accident, overturned while travelling on the N4-highway direction eMalahleni from Vosman.
The minibus, however, was stationed in the direction of Vosman, after the accident.
Two other passengers sustained serious injuries and were rushed to hospitals in eMalahleni.
MEC Ngomane said: “Public transport drivers must not gamble with the lives of innocent people all in the name of money.”
