Open substation boxes, huge threat for children

You can even see grass growing inside the substation

A concerned resident living in Tasbet Park is concerned about the substation doors that have been stolen and electrical wires are exposed.

Children living in Sekelbos Street, Tasbet Park Extension 1 are facing the ever-present threat of being electrocuted and killed before they reach adulthood because of substation doors that have been stolen by thieves.

Some of these substations have been opened for over a year now and it’s fortunate that no deaths due to electrocution have been reported yet.

You can even see grass growing inside the substation.

The concerned resident’s main concern is that children are curious, one day they will fiddle with the electrical cabling.

They will get electrocuted, burn or even die because of negligence.
